Privacy
What an account holds
Foliora stores the email address you sign in with, your studio name, public address and plan, the text on your portfolio, and the photograph files you uploaded. It does not store enquiry messages once they have been sent, and it does not store payment details.
A draft before you register
A portfolio you start without an account stays on this device for 14 days after you last used it, and no longer than 30 days in total. The photographs you add there are hard to guess, not private: anyone who has the file address can open it.
A published portfolio
A published page is public. Visitors can read the text you wrote, see the photographs you added, and follow the contact details you chose to show. The address enquiries are sent to never appears in the page.
Enquiries
When someone sends an enquiry, Foliora keeps the message only while it is trying to deliver it, for up to 24 hours. A short record that it was sent is kept for 90 days, then removed. The studio receives the message by email.
Downloading and deleting
You can download a copy of your portfolio text, photographs and account details from Account. Deleting your account takes the portfolio off the web today. You have 30 days to change your mind. After that, Foliora removes your studio from its systems. Your address stays reserved so nobody else can publish there.
Payments
Card details live with Stripe, the payment provider, not in Foliora. Foliora keeps the subscription facts it needs to run the account. Portfolios and photographs are hosted on WordPress.com.
Measurement
Foliora asks Google to measure visits to the marketing site and the editor — including a draft before you register — and completed registrations, so it can tell how people find Foliora and whether an advertisement led to an account. That measurement does not run on a published portfolio, or on a page a visitor to a studio reads. Advertising and analytics cookies stay off.
